The problem: a launchpad maintained one click at a time
Standard Fiori administration is designed for unit actions: one catalog, one group, one tile at a time. As soon as a deployment touches dozens of roles and catalogs — a go-live, a new business unit, a reorganization — maintenance turns into days of repetitive clicking.
And since each environment is maintained separately, the launchpads of DEV, QAS and PRD end up diverging: the tile present here, missing there, without anyone having decided it.
What the module does
The Fiori module centralizes the administration of catalogs, groups and tiles, and accepts mass imports from Excel: you describe the target launchpad in a tabular format, the platform applies it.
Consistency between PFCG roles and catalogs is checked, and as with every module, application is preceded by a preview: you see what will be created, changed or removed before anything changes.
